We’re at a time when we’re feeling bombarded with information about what we should or shouldn’t be doing, what’s best for us in these unusual times of coronovirus. The truth is, we always have been overrun with other’s thoughts of us from the moment we were born! From our parents and teachers, to cultural and religious institutions and governments – all of whom have claimed to know what’s best for us by imposing their beliefs and opinions on us.

This isn’t a judgement, it’s a fact that any one of us operates from our own unique view of the world because of our unique life experiences. It’s how rigid we are within our perceptions and whether we choose to question what we believe to be true to change and grow, and also if we choose to impose them on others or allow others to find their way to their own truths are the questions we need to ask ourselves. How stuck are we in our views?

Did all these people who influenced your world really know what was best for you? And do they now know what’s best for you? Is it time to go deep into what is best for you and find your truth? Not what your head and programmed beliefs tell you, but just what feels right in your heart and gut? As kids, we’re in a Theta brainwave – a hypnotic state – up until age 7 and just soak up these opinions and they end becoming our truth.  Just the way things are from your perception.

As adults we have a choice whether someone else’s opinion rings true for us. We have a choice to transform our thoughts about people and situations and stand up for ourselves. For so long we’ve given our power away to people who told us they knew what was best for us. Now we’re seeing that those people don’t really know what’s best at all – it’s just what they think and wish to pull you into their perception.

You only have to watch the brilliant kids programme Horrible Histories to know how the cultural, religious, scientific, medical norms of each point in time that were espoused with being ‘the truth’ and anyone who dared disagree was ostracised, humiliated – or worse – are looked back on now with disbelief. It took brave people to push the boundaries, say no to what those in power said and yes to their knowing, to speak their truth which moved beliefs forward to end situations such as segregation, women’s right to vote, medical and scientific research. Always check the motives behind what someone is telling you – is it really for your highest and best good, or theirs? 

The energy coming in this week is to support you in figuring out what feels true to you, what’s best for you. It is also giving you the courage to speak out, as so often in this lifetime and others you may have found yourself silenced or humiliated if you’ve said something that doesn’t fit with someone else’s views, especially if it’s the social norm.

When you find your truth and find the courage to express your unique voice and truth, your world changes – and so does The World. You begin to create new experiences. You begin to create a new world – one where you are free and safe to be you and not one where fear is driving you to believe what someone else wishes you to.

Just say yes to the following beliefs and allow the energy to flow through you:

• I know what it feels like to have an open and activated throat chakra
• I know what it feels like to empower my voice and communicate freely and with authenticity
• I know what it feels like to change the world through joyful intention
• I know what it feels like to have self-esteem and make choices that support me
• I know what it feels like to change my thoughts, change my frequency and change my life
• I know what it feels like consciously choose my words
• I know what it feels like to be curious about my negative words, thoughts and experiences in order to understand, grow through them and change my life.
• I know what it feels like to release any inhibition of my voice, truths or expressions, any trauma, persecution and fear about expressing my authentic voice.

I know how to, I deserve to, I am safe doing so and I choose to live my life with this grace and ease for my highest and best good.

And so it is.
